Try It! Spiritual Health For Greater Physical And Mental Wellness
Health & Wellness Yoga Benefits
|
Yoga books tell us that Yoga,
as we all know, is aimed to unite the mind, the body, and the spirit. Whether you read about Jennifer
Aniston crediting yoga for her “hotness” (yes, that really happened) or you heard about all the fun yoga retreats that are sprouting up,
there’s no denying that yoga is becoming more and more popular across America. So if you’re thinking about walking
into your first yoga class, here are a few tips. - Yogis view that the mind and the body are one, and that if it is given the right tools and taken
to the right environment, it can find harmony and heal itself.
- Yoga
therefore is considered therapeutic. It helps you become more aware of your body's posture, alignment and patterns of movement.
- It makes
the body more flexible and helps you relax even in the midst of a stress stricken environment. This is one of the foremost
reasons why people want to start practicing Yoga - to feel fitter, be more energetic, be happier and peaceful.
- Many benefits come
from yoga like sleeping better, improvement of memory, it can help regulate cholesterol, and even help boost energy level.

7 Amazing Positive Gratitude Quotes For
An Inspirational Productive Day
I think we'd all agree that expressing gratitude
daily is something we can always improve upon. Here are seven of my favorite quotes on what many consider to be the secret
to happiness, health, love, and success -- gratitude.
1. "Breathe. Let go. And remind yourself that this very
moment is the only one you know you have for sure." -- Oprah Winfrey 2. “We are shaped by our thoughts;
we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves.” -- Buddha
3.
"One of the most responsible things you can do as an adult is to become more of a child." -- Dr Wayne W Dyer
xxxxxxxxxxxx 4. "All mental states are accompanied by vibrations. You
combine with what you vibrate to, so let us all now vibrate to success, happiness & abundance!" 5.
"Honor the place in you where Spirit lives, the place in you which is of Love, Truth & Peace. Thoughts become things, choose the Good Ones!." -- F. Shinn
6. "To speak gratitude is courteous and pleasant, but to live gratitude is to touch heaven." — Johannes A. Gaertner
7. "When you awaken in a state of 'attitude of gratitude', ordinary days turn into thanksgiving,
turns routine jobs into joy and changes today's opportunities into blessings." ★ Inspire Someone Today ★ Love & Om' |
'Four' Springtime SoulFul Awakening Affirmations
|
It's Springtime, a time of renewal or awakening a
dormant 'soul' within you starting with positive affirmations. Every thought you think every word you say is an
affirmation. All of our self-talk or inner
dialogue is a stream of affirmations. We are continually affirming
subconsciously with our words and thoughts and this flow of affirmations is creating our life experience in every moment.
Our beliefs are just learned thought patterns that we have developed since childhood, many of these work well
for us, but others may now be working against us, they are dysfunctional and may be sabotaging us from achieving what we believe
we want. Every affirmation we think or say is a reflection of our inner truth or beliefs. It is important to realize that many of these "inner truths" may
not actually be true for us now or may be based on invalid or inappropriate impressions we constructed as children, which
if examined as an adult can be exposed as inappropriate. 1. Choose and give thanks for daily gifts. We sometimes forget
to look around and give gratitude for some we may take for granted. Some that I have shared with family and
friends are: Thank you for my health, being whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious, prosperious, healthy,
wealthy and HAPPY! You can add or change positive words upon awakening.....but I do feel it will start an
inspirational day! 2. Make a difference to others by sharing kind words of encouragement. I love to say hello to
anyone who is without a smile or looks like they are deep in their worries. A simple jesture of wishing them 'a positive
productive day' can change the aura of their day......and YOURS! Seeing their simple smile, a light in their eyes and
their reciprication of positive word affirmations...how can your day get even better? 3. Pick and choose a positive
books or readings that offers creating your own affirmations and is the perfect way to get the right affirmations for
you. I have included a few samples below, as well as one of my favorites from Louise Hay → You Can Heal Your Life- Gift Edition Bundle ← They make amazing Easter and Passover gifts and what better to celebrate the gift of life but to share
with others? And besides there is such a reward inwardly when we watch another open unsuspecting 'positive
gift'! 4. Today write down ten things you
just adore about yourself...add ten things to appreciate in your life...TIME TO shift your springtime vibrations.
No matter what aspect of life you're dealing with or who you are, affirmations will not only make you feel better about yourself
and your life, but if used correctly, they can manifest real change in your life. Changing the way you think about yourself,
reprogramming your mind (or cleaning out our mental closet) and removing the old negative beliefs can enable you to achieve
the life you've always wanted for yourself! By giving love we receive.....positive energy......we are LOVE!
Wishing all an amazing Spring cleaning! |

Is Your Spirit In An 'Unforgivable'
Hibernation Mode?
Inner peace can be reached only when we
willfully practice unconditional forgiveness.
When we cherish grievances, we allow our mind to be fed by fear, and we become imprisoned by these distortions. Resentment,
and bitterness have been known to cause both mental and physical illnesses. The unforgiving
mind, contrasted with the forgiving mind, is confused, afraid and full of fear. It is certain of the justification of
its’ anger, and the correctness of its condemning judgment. The unforgiving mind rigidly sees the past and future as the same and therefore resistent to
change. It doesn’t want the future to be different from the past, thus the unforgiving mind sees itself as innocent,
and others as guilty. It thrives on conflict and on being right. What is the true meaning of forgiveness? 1. It means giving full pardon to the person
who may have hurt you. 2. A canceling of debt. 3. Provides for a new beginning. 4.It is the key that
unlocks the door of resentment, bitterness, and hatred. Happiness comes from an inner peace, understanding and acceptance of life; a perspective of truth
that opens your eyes to the beauty of life all around us. Happiness cannot be achieved by external status, it must be
an internal state that is the vehicle for changing our
perceptions, and letting go of our fears, con demning judgments, and grievances. Forgiveness : The Greatest Healer of All is written by 'Gerald G. Jampolsky' in simple, down-to-earth language. It explains why so many of us find it difficult
to forgive and why holding on to grievances is really a decision to suffer. The book describes what causes us to be unforgiving
and how our minds work to justify this. It goes on to point out the toxic side effects of being unforgiving and the havoc
it can play on our bodies and on our lives. But above all, it leads us to the vast benefits of forgiving. The author shares
powerful stories that open our hearts to the miracles which can take place when we truly believe that no one needs to be excluded
from our love. Sprinkled throughout the book are 'Forgiveness Reminders' that may be used as daily affirmations supporting
a new life free of past grievances. Browse additional amazing inspirational healing → Body, Mind & Spirit eBooks |
Nourishing The Soul With The Positives In
Life
If you were to look up the term
“personal growth,” the words that would most likely pop up would be self-i mprovement, success, goal-setting, etc. But I believe that personal growth also involves deepening
one’s relationship with God. Focusing on the positives in our lives makes a real difference to how we feel on
a day-to-day basis. It motivates us, enables us to feel inspired, brings hope, nurtures healthy self-esteem, builds self-confidence
and makes us happy. Being thankful for the positives in our life, or as I call it "Attitude Of Gratitude" on a daily basis increasingly will
rise our standards in living and nourish healthy mind, body and amazing lovely beautiful souls. Spending
a few moments during meditation or times of reflection to put thanks ‘out there’ to the universe, God, nature,
life, (whatever we feel most comfortable with) helps keep us on track with the fundamental things that really matter and reminds
us of what we have rather than what we don’t have. 3 Books That Nourish Your Soul Grace

2,500,000 copies sold, this devotional continues to touch lives as it emphasizes the help and hope of God in everyday moments.

Happy
Mind, Body, Heart = Spiritual Wellness
Wellness is about trying to find a balance, on a
daily basis, between all of our competing interests, while remaining content, focused and at peace. We all lead very fast
paced and complicated lives. We have school, work, friends, family, etc. They all require our time, energy and attention.
Take a few minutes everyday to acknowledge an 'attitude of gratitude' for your gift of life. You are here for a purpose, and reorganizing your thoughts instead of being on
mindful 'auto pilot' is beneficial to creating a productive day and spiritual wellness. After all, you were born with
mindful perfection. You and only 'you' are in full control of your thoughts! Here are a few questions to ponder...store
your positive thought for daily affirmation and the negatives....kick them to the curb!Intellectual: Am I challenging my mind? Do I search for knowledge? Creative, stimulating mental activities enhance the intellectual
dimension. Occupational: Understanding the contributions I make in this world, and achieving satisfaction
and enrichment as a result, is the cornerstone for occupational wellness. Social: This
is the area of family, friends, and significant others. Are we happy with our relationships? Social wellness begins with an
objective view of the people in our lives. Environmental:
Am I aware of my surroundings? Do I
respect the world I live in? Do I take for granted all that nature offers me? Environmental wellness is based on the continuous
awareness, respect, and appreciation for the world we live in. Physical: Do
I respect my body? Do I give it the right fuel? Am I abusing my body, or treating it with care?
Emotional: How do I feel about that? Why did I react in that matter? Awareness of my feelings
or emotions and understanding them is key to achieving our emotional wellness. Spiritual: What
moves me? What beliefs drive me to be the best that I can be? What is my role in this world, and with the people around me?
Being in touch with my personal beliefs and fostering them is key to the spiritual dimension.

Developing balance of the connections between mind, body and soul are often a kind of intelligence equally as
crucial as IQ, EQ (emotional intelligence), or social intelligence. As awareness deepens, bodily sensations provide feedback
and guidance about e very facet of your life from nurturing relationships to enhancing effectiveness at work. By intensively focusing on a
particular manifestion, you can reduce stress, balance your health, and get the maximum innate possibility of health,
creativity, and spiritual growth. Sometime in life we can be impacted by
stress, unwanted habits, negative or inherited patterns of behavior, personal problems, lack of self confidence, procrastination,
insufficient motivation, despondency, depression, anxieties of various kinds along with other emotional problems that manifest
themselves in physical form and become a daily reality. This has detrimental effects on our health and wellness, happiness, progress and overall well-being. Our minds
begin to work on "auto pilot" to these despairs and NEED a positive 'JOLT'. Today's lifestyle, sub-optimal nutrition, poor water consumption, stress and emotional
issues, poor sleep, chemicals and e-smog all disturb the biological balance from the body. For a mind, body balancing and spiritual healing 'jolt',

Are You Being Affected By Seasonal Affective
Disorder (SAD)
Everyone feels blue from time to time, but if you notice that your symptoms are seaso nal - and that they usually appear when the weather gets colder and the days get shorter - you may have a common condition
known as seasonal affective disorder (SAD). According to the National Institute of Mental Health, these depressive
disorders affect as many as 18.8 million Americans each year. Although it is also known as the "winter
blues," SAD can occur during any season. It tends to come around the same time each year, but does not usually last year
round. If you have it, you may experience recurring, cyclic bouts of depression, an increased appetite, and a greater need for sleep. Looking for a new way to wake up?Experts believe that his imbalance, which can be severe in some people, is due to the lack of sunlight experienced
by much of the country in the fall and winter months because of the shorter days. Light treatment has been widely accepted
as a way to minimize the symptoms of SAD. Specifically, having some type of natural wake up light helps people rise in a positive
mood and remain happier and calmer throughout the day. One

A Good Sleep Promotes Good Health
In today's fast-paced world, it’s getting harder to
get a good night's sleep. You might have seen NightWave Sleep Assistant talked about on "The
Doctors" or other national TV shows. SLEEP Solutions managing director and sleep expert Glen Farebrother says there are some simple steps people
can follow to ensure they are well rested: -
Keep the bedroom free from distractions and stimulation — make your bed a "sleep only" zone. - Maintain a regular schedule: try to
go to sleep and wake up at roughly the same time each day and try to get to sleep before midnight. - Reduce exposure to bright lights at night - try to avoid
using your mobile phone or computer before bed - these stimulate you and disrupt the production of your natural sleep hormone,
melatonin. - Enjoy a warm
bath before bed - it will help lower your body temperature when you're in bed, which encourages sleep. - Try to exercise during the day - first thing in the morning
is ideal and exercise helps promote sleep. If you exercise outside, the exposure to bright light will also help reset your
natural body clock. - Limit
or avoid alcohol, caffeine and food right before bed as they can affect sleep patterns. - Take some time out for yourself each day: try some yoga or meditation later in
the evening; read a book; spend time with family. - A new natural alternative to get to sleep is called the NightWave Sleep Assistant. This is a small night light that gently pulsates, helping
the user to relax through a calming breathing technique. For further information to purchase, visit Nightwave.com |
